E-Fulfillment

E-fulfillment" refers to all logistics processes required for complete order processing in online retail - from ordering to product delivery. This includes the storage and picking of goods as well as their packaging, franking and shipping and often also additional services such as returns processing, customer support or repair services. Online store operators often work with external e-fulfillment service providers to outsource all or part of these logistics processes. This allows them to concentrate on their core business and save time and investment for the necessary infrastructure, trained staff and setting up logistics structures in their own company.
