# Supply-Chain-Management

Supply chain management (SCM) refers to all processes along the supply chain - from the procurement of raw materials and the production of goods to the marketing and delivery of products to the end consumer. This includes processes in the areas of production and logistics as well as financial and data processes. The main objectives of supply chain management are to make these processes efficient, cost-effective and smooth, to minimize operational risks and to meet the needs of customers.

Modern software solutions (supply chain management software) are used for the IT implementation of company-specific requirements in supply chain management. With their help, the various complex processes can be efficiently controlled and optimized.
