Key questions regarding the sale of Schenker / Bitergo to DSV

On April 30, 2025, our parent company Schenker was sold to DSV, a leading international logistics company headquartered in Denmark. As a result, Bitergo, previously a Schenker subsidiary, now also belongs to DSV. In the following FAQ, we would like to explain what this means for you as a Bitergo customer/partner. 

What has changed in terms of ownership at Schenker and Bitergo?

Deutsche Bahn AG has sold Schenker to DSV, a leading international logistics company headquartered in Denmark.
As Bitergo GmbH was part of Schenker, we are now also part of the DSV Group. For our customers, this means no changes to existing contracts, contact persons, or services.

Who is DSV?

DSV A/S is a global transport and logistics service provider headquartered in Hedehusene, Denmark, offering professional solutions for all modern transport and warehouse logistics services. With its own branches and offices, DSV is active in more than 80 countries and six continents.

Will Bitergo continue to exist as an independent company in the future?

Yes, Bitergo will remain an independent company.
Our operations, organization, and decision-making processes will remain unchanged. We will continue to work with the same team, the same contact persons, and the same processes as before.

Will Bitergo make any changes to its product portfolio?

No, our product portfolio remains unchanged.
Our proven software solutions for warehouse management, our services, and innovations will continue to be provided in the usual high quality.

Will the previous contact persons remain the same?

Yes, your previous contacts will remain unchanged.
Our contact details, email addresses, and support channels will also remain the same.
You can therefore continue to reach us in the usual ways.

Do the changes affect existing contracts or terms and conditions?

No. All existing contracts, agreements, and terms and conditions remain valid. Your contact persons and service levels remain unchanged.

As a Bitergo customer, do you need to take any action?

No. There is no need for our customers to take any action. All ongoing projects and systems will continue to run without interruption.

Will billing change?

Not at present. Should administrative details (such as sender information on invoices) change in the future, we will inform you in a timely and transparent manner.

What does membership of DSV mean for Bitergo in the long term?

Being part of DSV opens up new opportunities for us, particularly in the international arena and in the further development of our products. At the same time, we remain focused on providing innovative logistics software for our customers.
