Paperless order picking

Picking is the compilation of articles on the basis of orders or purchase orders. 
In paperless picking, the paper picking list used in the past is replaced by an electronic order display. The order pickers in the warehouse receive the order data on mobile handheld devices or stationary terminals, which are connected to a higher-level IT system. Electronic systems such as barcode scanners, RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) or pick-by-voice support the processing of orders.
