The Correction Mobile App is designed to help warehouse staff make fast, traceable inventory corrections in real time. It lets users directly adjust quantities, tenant assignments, bin storage locations, and correction reasons, while keeping the changes transparent through comments and system updates. With the mobile app, warehouse staff can quickly and intuitively correct the inventory of handling units directly on the warehouse floor.
To correct the quantity of an item on a handling unit, you can scan or select either the handling unit directly, the bin location where the handling unit is stored, or the item whose quantity you want to adjust.
You can then perform one of the following operations:
The Correction Mobile App features the standard mobile app user interface of Bitergo WMS. For details, see the chapter on User Interface and User Experience.
You can log in to the app in two ways:
In the Username field, enter the email address you used to register with Bitergo WMS, and in the Password field, enter your password. Click the "Log In" button to log in to the system. You will be logged in and redirected to the app's home screen. If necessary, you can use the "Change Server" button to enter or change the server address of your Bitergo WMS manually.
Click the QR code icon to open the camera. Log in to the user portal via a browser on another device and use the camera to scan your personal QR code. It contains your user information, password, and the server address. As soon as the QR code is scanned, you will be logged in and taken to the app's home screen.
From the home screen of the Correction Mobile App, you can open the sidebar menu by tapping the menu icon in the upper-left corner of the header. Using the sidebar menu, you can log out, view the legal notice, or adjust settings; for more information, see the "Sidebar Menu" section.
In the main area of the home screen, you'll find the following buttons:
After pressing the HANDLING UNIT Button, a scan dialog opens. Scan the handling unit you want to adjust/ correct or enter the handling unit number manually. Then confirm with OK, or press CANCEL to return to the home screen.
After selecting a handling unit, the Handling Unit Correction screen opens.
In the header you will find:
The main area of the screen displays details about the selected handling unit, such as its number in the header, the bin location in which it is stored, the load support (loading aid), the tenant it is associated with and last but not least the item it contains, it's description, lot, quantity and an image. Next to the image you will find an info icon. When you tap the info icon, you are taken to the Item Locations screen, see below for more information on that.
Below the item information you will find the form fields with which you can adjust or correct the quantity of the item on this handling unit.
In the first row on the left side, you can select what operation you want to perform:
Next to this dropdown menu you will find the quantity field, followed by the unit (for example PCE) the item is counted in.
In the second row you will find the field "Remaining quantity", where the result after the operation is shown.
Underneath the fields you will find the button "VALIDATE CHANGE". Tap this button after you have selected an operation and have entered the desired number in the quantity field, to perform the operation and validate the correction/ change.
Select "Withdrawn" in the dropdown menu and enter the number of the items you want to remove. The "Remaining Quantity" field shows the result of the operation.
Tap on "VALIDATE CHANGE" to perform the operation.
After the operation is finished the total quantity is adjusted/ corrected respectively in the field "Stock:" above the item image. The new total quantity is also reflected in the last field "Remaining Quantity".
Select "added" in the dropdown menu and enter the number of the items you want to add to the selected handling unit. The "Remaining Quantity" field shows the result of the operation.
Tap on "VALIDATE CHANGE" to perform the operation.
Select "Correction" in the dropdown menu and enter the new corrected number of items stored on the handling unit. This operation changes the quantity directly, without a removal or adding operation.
Tap on "VALIDATE CHANGE" to perform the operation.
After the operation is finished the corrected quantity is shown in the field "Stock:" above the item image.
Tap on the "Add item" icon in the header next to the handling unit number to open the Add Item Screen.
To add an item to the handling unit, scan the item packaging you want to add or type the item number in the first field. Then type in the quantity you want to add of this specific item in the second row. If needed you can add Lot, Serial number, expiration date. Tap the button "ADD" to add this item to the handling unit and return to the Handling Unit Screen.
The newly added item and its information will be displayed in the main area. Also, you will find that the handling units lines number (which shows how many items of a different kind are stored on a handling unit) has changed and increased by one. (In the example you will now see 2/2 under the header.) You can swipe left or right accordingly to switch from one item to the other.
Tap on the "Create Lock" icon in the header next to the handling unit number to open the Create Lock Screen.
To create a lock for the handling unit, tap on the "Add" Icon on the bottom right of the screen. The "Create Lock" dialog opens, in which you can define the settings of the new lock.
When you tap the info icon, you are taken to the Item Locations screen. This screen displays a list of all bin locations where the item is stored, along with the corresponding handling units and quantities.
Press the "Back" Arrow in the header to return to the Handling Unit Correction Screen.
By tapping the additional menu icon (three dots stacked vertically) in the header you can perform the following operations on the selected handling unit:
After tapping on "Change receive delivery date", the Change Receive Delivery Date Screen opens. Use the controls to change the goods receipt delivery date and time of the handling unit.
After tapping on "Change tenant", the Change tenant Screen opens, displaying a list of all registered tenants. Select a tenant to assign the handling unit to him. Use the additional menu to apply a filter to the tenants list, to remove a filter or to scan a code, to assign a new tenant.
After selecting the tenant, a dialog opens. Here you must select a Reason for the tenant change out of 5 possible options in a dropdown menu:
Tap on OK to change the tenant or on CANCEL to cancel the operation.
After tapping on "Change bin location", the Change bin location Screen opens, displaying a field for the new bin location number. Scan the new bin location code or enter the bin location number manually to book the handling unit to the new location.
After tapping on "Change load support", the Change load support Screen opens, displaying a list with available load support masters. Scan a load support code or enter the load support master number manually to change the load support of the handling unit. Confirm or cancel the operation in the dialog with "YES" or "NO".
After tapping on "Change HU height" the Change HU Height Screen opens, displaying a dialog in which the new height of the handling unit can be entered. Confirm or cancel the operation in the dialog with "SAVE" or "CANCEL".
After pressing the "BIN LOCATION" Button, a scan dialog opens. Scan the Bin Location whose handling units you want to adjust/ correct or enter the Bin location number manually. Then confirm with OK, or press CANCEL to return to the home screen.
After selecting a bin location, the Bin location information screen opens.
In the header you will find:
The main area of the screen displays a list of the handling units stored in this bin location. There is a grey row for every handling unit which holds the handling unit number, the bin location number and the load support type of the handling unit.
Underneath the Handling Unit Row, a list of all the different items stored on this handling unit (the handling unit lines) is displayed, including item number, item image, item description and quantity.
