A distribution warehouse serves as a central location for storing ready-to-sell goods that can be quickly and directly delivered to customers from there. Typically, the distribution warehouse acts as an intermediate station and link between production and delivery, aiming to ensure high delivery capability to business partners while optimizing costs. In addition, the main warehouse is relieved by the use of a distribution warehouse. Large e-commerce retailers, food or automotive manufacturers often use distribution warehouses at conveniently located sites in order to deliver ordered products to the end consumer as quickly as possible and thereby increase customer satisfaction.
