Introduction

With the Info Web App, you can keep track of stock levels and booking data at all times. You can inspect storage locations, handling units, handling unit lines, and stock, and use the journals to monitor process steps, movements, and the status of handling units and shipments.

Basic Concepts

Use the navigation to choose the object type you want to inspect, set filters to choose what to display in the table, select an entry in the table to show it´s details in the preview area on the right side of the screen.

The Info Goods Web App uses the standard Bitergo WMS web app user interface. For details, see the chapter on User Interface and User Experience.

Header Menu

The menu icon on the right side of the header gives you access to the following general functions:

  • Navigation Visible: Toggles the navigation pane on and off.
  • Preview Visible: Toggles the preview area on and off.
  • Change Language: Use this option to switch the interface language between German, English or Spanish. A dialog window opens after clicking the button, allowing you to choose your preferred language. Click OK to confirm or cancel to discard your selection.
  • Excel Export: Exports the table currently displayed in the workspace to an Excel file. After clicking the option, a dialog opens where you can choose the save location for the file. Confirm the selection with OK to save the Excel file to the specified location.
  • Log Out: Signs you out of Bitergo WMS and closes the application.

The navigation panel lets you switch between the categories "Bin Locations," "Handling Unit Lines," "Handling Units," "Stock," "Handling Unit Journal," and "Shipment Journal." Click a category to display its contents in the main work area.

Main Work Area

The main workspace in the center of the screen displays the data for the category selected in the navigation panel in tabular form. The function buttons below the table let you perform actions on all displayed records or on selected rows only.

Preview Area

The preview area is located to the right of the table and shows detailed information for the item selected in the main work area, usually the currently selected row in the table.

You can access the following functional areas via the navigation:

Bin Locations

Main Work Area

The table displays all bin locations in the warehouse. Above it, you will find a filter area with two dropdown menus that let you select the warehouse and warehouse type and a text field to narrow the results shown in the table.

Use the first dropdown, "Warehouse," to select the warehouse whose bin locations you want to display. Use the second dropdown, "Warehouse Type," to select the warehouse area whose storage locations should appear in the table. To show only empty locations, check the box beneath the dropdown menus. Use the Quick Filter text field to enter a string (text) as a filter. Once you have set the filters, click the refresh icon next to the dropdowns to apply them and update the table.

... You can save or edit a filter by clicking the Filter icon directly before the Quick Filter Text field. This opens the Filter menu, which includes the following options:

  • Create new filter
  • Edit filter...
  • Duplicate filter...
  • Remove filter...
  • Close filter

After you create a new filter, it appears in the navigation area, so you can access it whenever you use the app.

The table displays the following information about each bin location in its columns:

  • Number
  • Description
  • Note
  • Tenant

By clicking a row, you can select a bin location. Once selected, all detailed information about the bin location appears in the preview area, and the "Handling Units..." function button below the table becomes active.

Bin Locations Functions

Below the Bin Locations table, you'll find the following function button:

  • "Handling Units..."

"Handling Units..." function

After selecting a bin location row, you can click the "Handling Units" function button to display all handling units stored in that location. The "Handling Units" screen opens, and the main table shows the handling units and handling unit lines, together with information about the items and quantities stored on them. This includes the handling unit number and total item quantity, as well as item details such as quantities, batch or lot information, serial numbers, and expiration dates. Click a row to display additional item details in the preview area.

Bin Locations Instructions

Step 1: Set the filters

Set the filters to control which bin locations appear in the table, so you can find the one you want to inspect more quickly.

Step 2: Select the desired bin location

Click a bin location row to display its information in the preview area.

Step 3: Display the stored handling units

Then click the "Handling Units..." function button to view detailed information about all handling units stored in that location.

Handling Unit Lines

Main Work Area

The table displays all handling unit lines. Above it, you will find a filter area with a creation date field, three text fields for filtering by item number, additional identifiers, and custom tariff number, a "Show Weight" checkbox, and the Quick Filter text field and menu. Use these options to narrow the results shown in the table.

Once you have set the filters, click the refresh icon next to the dropdowns to apply them and update the table.

You can save or edit a filter by clicking the Filter icon directly before the Quick Filter Text field. This opens the Filter menu, which includes the following options:

  • Create new filter
  • Edit filter...
  • Duplicate filter...
  • Remove filter...
  • Close filter

Handling Unit Lines Functions

Below the Bin Locations table, you'll find the following function buttons:

  • "Lock Lines..."

"Lock lines..." function

Select a handling unit line and click the "Lock Lines..." function button to open the Lock Lines screen. There, you can see whether the selected line is locked, which type of lock is applied and view further information about the applied lock....

Handling Unit Lines Instructions

Step 1: Set the filters

Set the filters to control which handling unit lines appear in the table, so you can find the one you want to inspect more quickly.

Step 2: Select the desired handling unit line

Click a handling unit line row to display its information in the preview area.

Step 3: Display information about applied locks

Then click the "Lock Lines..." function button to view detailed information about all the locks applied to the handling unit line.

Handling Units

Main Work Area

The table displays all handling units stored in your warehouse. Above it, you will find a filter area with the Quick Filter text field and menu. Use the Quick Filter Text field narrow down which handling units will be displayed in the table.

You can save or edit a filter by clicking the Filter icon directly before the Quick Filter Text field. This opens the Filter menu, which includes the following options:

  • Create new filter
  • Edit filter...
  • Duplicate filter...
  • Remove filter...
  • Close filter

After you create a new filter, it appears in the navigation area, so you can access it whenever you use the app.

By clicking a row, you can select a handling unit. Once selected, all detailed information about the handling unit appears in the preview area.

Handling Unit Lines Instructions

Step 1: Set the filter

Use the Quick filter text field or select a saved quick filter from the navigation area to control which handling units appear in the table, so you can find the one you want to inspect more quickly.

Step 2: Select the desired handling unit

Click a handling unit row to display its information in the preview area.

Stock

Main Work Area

The table displays all item entries in your master data. Above it, you will find a filter area with three dropdown menus that let you select the tenant, warehouse and warehouse type and a text field for filtering by item number to narrow the results shown in the table.

Use the first dropdown, "Tenant," to select whose tenant's items you want to display.
Enter the exact item number in the "Item Number" text field to show only that item.

Use the second and third dropdown, "Warehouse" and „Warehouse Type," to narrow down the selection of items to the selected warehouse and warehouse area. To show only empty locations, check the box beneath the dropdown menus. Once you have set the filters, click the refresh icon next to the dropdowns to apply them and update the table. Activate the "Extended View" check box to show an extended view.

The table displays the following information about each item in its columns:

  • Tenant name: The tenant with whom the item is associated
  • Item Number
  • Item Description
  • Lot
  • Sum packaging: How many items are in one packaging
  • Handling Units: On how many handling units is this item stored
  • Quantity: The total quantity of the item in the warehouse
  • Available: The available quantity for shipments and transports
  • Reservation: The quantity of the item that is reserved for a shipment or a transport
  • Lock: The quantity of items that is locked
  • Virtual: The virtual quantity of the item

By clicking a row, you can select an item. Once selected, all detailed information about the item appears in the preview area, and the "Stock..." function buttons below the table get activated.

Stock Functions

Below the Stocks main area table, you'll find the following function buttons:

  • "Reservations..."
  • "Packagings..:"
  • "Handling Units..."... Some function buttons become active only when the status of the selected table entry allows that action. For example, the "Reservations..." button is only available when an active reservation exists for the selected item, such as a reservation for a specific shipment.

"Reservations..." function

Select an item in the table and click "Reservations..." to open the Reservations Screen. Here you can view details about the Orders for which a specific quantity of this item is reserved. The following information is displayed in the table's columns:

  • Order-Type
  • Order-Number
  • Order-Status
  • Handling Unit Number
  • Bin Location Number
  • Load Support
  • Quantity
  • Reserved Quantity
  • Lock Count

"Packagings..." function

Select an item in the table and click " Packagings..." to open the Packagings Screen.

Here you can view details about the existing packagings of this item. The following information is displayed in the table's columns:

  • Unit
  • Description
  • Note
  • Quantity
  • Quantities

"Handling Units..." function

Select an item in the table and click " Handling Units..." to open the Handling Units Screen.

Here you can view details about all the handling units on which this item is stored. The following information is displayed in the table's columns:

  • Handling Unit Number
  • Carrier
  • Loadsupport Master
  • Bin Location
  • Quantity
  • Unpacked Quantity
  • Available
  • Serial Number
  • Expiration Date
  • Receive Delivery Date
  • EPC
  • UPC

Stock Instructions

Step 1: Set the filters

Set the filters to control which items appear in the table, so you can find the one you want to inspect more quickly.

Step 2: Select the desired item

Click an item row to display its information in the preview area.

Step 3: Display information about Reservations, Packagings or Handling Units associated with the item

Then click the "Reservations..." function button to view detailed information about all reservations associated with the item. Click the "Packaging..." button to display packaging information or click "Handling Units..." to view all handling units on which the item is stored.

Handling Unit Journal

Main Work Area

The table displays all information about operations concerning a handling unit. Above it, you will find a filter area with a "Creation date from" field, a "Journal Type" dropdown, and the Quick Filter text field and menu. Use these options to narrow the results shown in the table.

These types of journal entries exist:

  • Amount
  • Count
  • Stocktype
  • Location
  • Load Support
  • Other
  • Goods Out
  • Goods In
  • Pick

Once you have set the filters, click the refresh icon next to the dropdowns to apply them and update the table.
